Building on the triumphant return of the IDOL body design and series of instruments at the 2018 Summer NAMM show, Washburn is adding two new models to the revered lineup. The Idol Standard 160 features a Tune-O-Matic style bridge, two Duncan Designed Humbucker pickups with individual volume & tone controls, a three-way selector switch and Ovangkol fingerboard to help dial in that perfect tone. The gloss black finish over the classic IDOL body and bolt-on hard rock maple neck give a uniformity and sleek attraction to it’s overall appearance. With a 24.75″ scale length, whether you’re looking to get those Southern rock riffs and soaring lead solos or full, round and clear chordal progressions; the Washburn Idol Standard 160 will get you there.
The “S6 Slim” refers to the guitar’s slim profile, which makes it comfortable to play, especially for players with smaller hands. The “CW” stands for “cutaway,” which means that the guitar has a portion of the body cut away to allow for easier access to the higher frets. The “S6 Slim” refers to the guitar’s slim profile, which makes it comfortable to play, especially for players with smaller hands.
