This is the lowest priced Deering banjo made with a tone ring. The openback style makes it suitable for clawhammer or frailing styles of playing, while the increased brightness and volume is a wonderful surprise to players who play in the more traditional bluegrass style of play.

The Dropkick Murphys Goodtime Two 19-Fret tenor banjo is an all maple banjo with a hard rock maple neck and a violin grade maple rim for an awesome tone. It's tuned in fifths G, D, A, E just like an octave mandolin so the fingering is easy for mandolin and violin players. A Kavanjo pickup can be installed as an option.
